left the station the pagers were set off by Swansea Coastguard. On
returning home one of our crew members spotted two people gesturing for
assistance on the Middle Island at Mumbles Head. The crew member
contacted the mobile coastguard team, who assessed the situation and
requested a second launch of the lifeboat within the half hour.
A second crew were assembled
and recovered two people from the Islands.
