Along with the ILB, the ALB was tasked to respond to a MAYDAY call.  The MAYDAY was from a 16ft boat reportedly sinking in Caswell Bay.  On arrival at the scene (actually Langland Bay) the ILB assessed the situation and downgraded the shout from a MAYDAY as there was no immediate need to evacuate the boats 2 crew.  The ILB towed the vessel back to Mumbles, with the ALB shadowing, and handed to the coastguards at the Knab Rock.  Following which, the ALB was re-housed.
